Free online photo editor with layers
MYLPER is a free photo editor that runs in your browser. It has layers, masks, adjustment layers and selections like a desktop editor — and your photos never leave your device.
Open the editor — free, no sign-up
Edit a photo in four steps
- Open the editor and click Open image (or drop a photo on the page).
- Adjust it non-destructively: Adjustments → Brightness/Contrast, Hue/Saturation or Exposure.
- Select an area with the marquee, lasso or magic wand to edit just that part.
- File → Export As… and choose JPEG, PNG or WebP.
What you can do
- Layers with 16 blend modes, opacity, groups and layer masks.
- Select several layers to move, scale, rotate, align and distribute them together.
- Adjustment layers — including Levels and Curves — that never change the original pixels.
- Filters such as blur, sharpen, noise and pixelate; smart objects and smart filters.
- Marquee, lasso and magic-wand selections; feather, expand, contract, transform.
- Brush, pencil, eraser, paint bucket, gradient, shapes and text.
- Retouching: Clone Stamp, Healing Brush, Dodge, Burn, Sponge, Blur, Sharpen and Smudge.
- Vibrance, Color Balance, Channel Mixer, Gradient Map and Photo Filter adjustments.
- Drop shadows, glows, inner shadows, bevels, outlines and gradient or colour overlays.
- Open and save layered PSD files; export PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG and PDF.
- Record actions and replay them, or batch-process many photos into one ZIP download.
- A colour picker with Hex, RGB and HSB values, and your own swatches.
- Projects save automatically in your browser; a History panel to go back any step.
Limitations
Images can be up to 12,000 pixels per side (36 megapixels). There are no AI tools such as automatic background removal or content-aware fill. See the documentation for everything that is available.
Questions
- Is MYLPER free?
- Yes. The editor is free to use in your browser, with no account and no watermark.
- Are my photos uploaded?
- No. Photos are opened, edited and exported on your device. MYLPER has no server that receives your images.
- Which formats can I export?
- PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG, PDF and layered PSD.
- Can I remove blemishes or unwanted objects?
- Yes. Use the Healing Brush to remove spots and blemishes (it matches the surrounding colour and brightness), or the Clone Stamp to copy one area over another. Both work in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
- Can I edit many photos at once?
- Yes. Record an action (for example an adjustment and a filter), then use File → Batch… to apply it to many photos. The results are saved as one ZIP file, built on your device.
- Does it work offline?
- Once the page has loaded, editing happens in the browser. A full offline mode is not available yet.
